The official synopsis was also released:

In Scream 4, Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (played by Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.
The newest installment in the acclaimed franchise that ushered in a new wave of horror in the 1990s is written by series creator Kevin Williamson and directed by suspense master and director of the first trilogy, Wes Craven.  The film stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox-Arquette, David Arquette, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody, Mary McDonnell, Marley Shelton, Nico Tortorella, Marielle Jaffe, Kristen Bell, Anna Paquin, Lucy Hale, Shanae Grimes, Aimee Teegarden and Brittany Robertson.

And just for the sake of completion here’s some information about the roles.

- In “I’m.Mortal” (recently renamed to “Now”), a thriller set in a future when people must pay to stay alive,  Nico auditioned for the role of Will Silas, the big baddie, that eventually was played by mr Justin Timberlake. That’s a shame Nico didn’t end up getting this role, because the cast is incredible.

- In “A Dolphin’s Tale”, inspired by the true story of a young boy saving a dolphin, Nico read for the role of Kyle, Ashley Judd’s character’s boyfriend who joins the army to sponsor his dream of swimming at the Olympics but tragically loses a leg; the role eventually went to newcomer Austin Stowell.

A short video of Nico, Sara and Jordan outside Cecconi’s for the Range Rover Evoque party on November 16 was released by Hollywood.tv and has been added to the video archive in 1080p HD. If you prefer you can watch an extended version of it (including some additional footage of Sara on the red carpet and a reporter commenting on the night) on YouTube.

Two candid videos of Nico and Sara arriving at Roosevelt Hotel after the “Blue Valentine” screening on November 6, 2010 surfaced and have been added to the archive, they are both in 1080p high definition, but unfortunately the second one is a bit shaky.

*Replaced with better quality version* MovieFix posted the official “Scream 4″ extended trailer on their site but unfortunately it’s locked for people outside of Australia. A lower quality version of it made its way online thanks to Scream-Trilogy.net, so I have added it to our video archive. Captures and hopefully a high definition version of it will be posted as soon as international media outlets start reposting it.

The first “Scream 4″ teaser trailer premiered last night during Spike TV’s Scream Awards and a low quality camera recording of it leaked online shortly after. Nico is briefly featured around the 18 seconds mark, follow the previous link to watch it on YouTube. A better quality version will be posted to our video archive after the Scream Awards ceremony airs next Tuesday (October 19).
